"School for Good. I Read for Myself. Level 3", written and illustrated by Joanna Olech, is a story about a primary school where everyone would love to learn! When Tymek, a boy suffering from misophonia, joins the class, the school bell is replaced by birdsong and the legs of the chairs are protected from banging with tennis balls. All this is done so that everyone feels comfortable and safe. On Obibok Day, children come to class in their pyjamas and the students lead the lessons. School for Good is a place full of joy, where teachers are a genuine support and are always willing to help.

"I Read for Myself" is a comprehensive programme for teaching independent reading, intended for children aged 5–7. It follows the recommendations of teaching-methodology experts and was created in cooperation with prominent Polish authors and illustrators. Large letters and clear type make the learning process easier, while interesting stories and beautiful illustrations make reading time great fun as well. Books from the "Czytam sobie" series can be used at home, at school or in the library. Each book includes stickers and a diploma that reinforce the child's sense of achievement.
“I Assemble Words”, or Level 1, is an excellent starting point for learning to read. The text contains 150–200 words and 23 basic sounds. The sentences are simple and short. Along the sides of each page, words are shown in boxes for practising sounds. The text is placed at the bottom of the page, making it easier for a young reader to follow individual letters and words with their finger.
“I Assemble Sentences”, or Level 2, is a level for learning to read using syllables. The text contains 800–900 words, 23 basic sounds and the sound “h”. The sentences are longer and there is more dialogue. Framed words appear along the side of each page to help practise syllabification.
“Swallow Pages”, or Level 3, consists of stories containing 2,500–2,800 words. At this level, all sounds are used. The sentences are more complex, and at the end of the book there is an alphabetical glossary of more difficult words. The illustrations are black and white, with a clear quantitative predominance of text over illustrations, giving the child the feeling of communicating with a real book.
At the special website www.czytamsobie.pl, parents, teachers and librarians can find additional educational materials that make learning to read independently easier and more enjoyable. These include a database of lesson plans, crossword puzzles, bookmarks, colouring pages and other teaching materials and aids. Czytamsobie.pl is also a knowledge centre containing many valuable tips and advice on methods and ways to learn to read.
