The special-edition model of the 477 008 ČSD "Parrot" steam locomotive in H0 scale (1:87) features a completely new design, precise detailing, digital control and a sound decoder. Its attractive blue livery with white lining, finely detailed spoked wheels and detailed cab make it an appealing model for both operational layouts and collectors.
The Roco 477 008 steam locomotive represents the legendary 477.0 class of the Czechoslovak State Railways from Era III. The prototype, known by the nickname "Parrot", was among the last and most technically advanced ČSD steam locomotives intended for heavy passenger service. The model faithfully captures the first production series in its characteristic blue livery with white decorative lining.
The digital H0 model is equipped with a five-pole motor with flywheel, four driven axles and sound. Direction-dependent LED lighting includes front lights and two rear lights; the driver's cab and chassis lighting can also be controlled digitally.
