The Polarstern mattress is designed for healthy and safe sleep for babies and toddlers. It combines a breathable cold-foam core with well-thought-out ventilation and a functional Sleep Safety cover that supports air circulation and helps maintain a pleasant, dry environment during sleep.
Main benefits of the mattress:
The Sleep Safety cover is multifunctional, quilted with soft fleece for comfort, and features an extra-wide side ventilation band. It has integrated moisture protection – it can absorb a small amount of liquid (e.g., when a diaper leaks), but not a larger volume. The cover is separable, washable up to 60 °C, and suitable for gentle tumble drying. In accordance with the safety standard, a Safety zip without a slider is used (to open it, you need a tool, e.g., a paper clip).
The mattress is supplied rolled and vacuum-packed to reduce shipping volume and environmental impact. After opening the film, it begins to unroll within a few minutes; the mattress core may need approximately 2–3 days to reach full volume (during this time, the mattress can be used normally).
