Montessori tactile sandpaper tablets are a sensory aid for the development and refinement of touch. Thanks to them, the child learns to distinguish different degrees of roughness and smoothness and naturally practices a gentle touch, which is also important as preparation of the hand for writing.
This Montessori material is designed for targeted development of tactile perception. The set consists of two boxes, and in each you will find 5 pairs of tablets for gradually distinguishing surfaces.
Set contents and focus:
- Set 1 – grading of roughness: the tablets are graded by roughness.
- Set 2 – grading of smoothness: the tablets are graded by smoothness.
Direct aims:
